South Georgia Pines (2016)

South Georgia Pines is part of a series of tunnel books by Amy Pirkle of Perkolator Press that examines how a shared place can influence sisters in different ways. While Amy imagines the tall pines of South Georgia when thinking of their grandmother’s home, her twin sister Sara recollects an intimate conversation in the kitchen. This book features Sara’s poem “My Grandmother in Her Kitchen.”
